Aural Abuse is a producer "Alan Walsh" from Dublin Ireland who started out producing under the name Micro Rave with fellow producer Steven Connolly.  From Kilbarrack the duo changed their name to C-Quence before embarking on a 12 year rollercoaster ride which saw them performing alongside some of the worlds biggest DJ's including Mickey Finn, Phil Jubb, Justin Garett, Eric Morillo, Paul Oakenfold, D:Ream etc.  Most of the gigs took place in Dublin's Ormond Multimedia centre which was later torn down to make way for a hotel.

C-Quence decided to stop gigging as the gigs were coming faster that the material could be produced and this ultimately led to the duo writing their projects separately.  Steven went on to form the hugely successful "Man in a Room" which resides primarily on the Queep label.

Meanwhile Alan went to the darker side of the world of music and started producing Nu Skool breaks.  The style of breaks produced vary from the dirty Botchit style sound to the more ambient beatless sounds found on some of the newer labels in the UK.
